Tim Delaney
Board Member
Tim Delaney is a lawyer and a managing partner with the firm Lindsay Kenney LLP in Vancouver. He has a B.A. from SFU and an LLB. from UBC.
He has a litigation practice specializing in commercial disputes, employment law matters and personal injury claims. He has held many law related positions including: Executive Director of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (current); Past President of the Vancouver Bar Association; Past President of the Law Courts Inn Society; Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Legislation and Law Reform Committee; and, Past President of the CBA National Law Week Program.
He frequently volunteers his time to Access Pro Bono, providing legal services to clients who cannot afford a lawyer.
He has delivered many lectures and papers at legal education conferences. Some of his non-law related volunteer activities in the past have included: Director, Act II Child & Family Services (a society that provides counselling to children and families in need and operates a second stage home for battered women); Director, St. George’s School Parents Association; coach, Vancouver Thunderbirds Minor Hockey; coach, Westside Warriors Flag Football.
